Summary

The very first edition of the Warsaw-Beijing Forum abounded in a series of valuable, mind-broadening meetings. Thus, the Project’s participants were honored to meet with His Excellency Ambassador of Poland in the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Tadeusz Chomicki. He has given some valuable advice on the future work of the Warsaw-Beijing Forum and has shown a great support for the enterprise. Ms. Daria Lipińska Nałęcz, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Mr. Michał Jezioro, the Chairman of KGHM Shanghai have also given us an inestimable technical assistance.

World-famous corporations like Deloitte, DLA Piper, HSBC, Polish Institute of International Affairs and Chinese law companies such as HeJun and LONGAN took part in the Project by organizing lectures and workshops. This edition’s events were focused on Sino-Polish relations, mainly in terms of culture, business and economics. The undeniable success of the first edition has become a great motivation for further development of Warsaw-Beijing Forum.
