Information on personal data processing
by the Warsaw-Beijing Forum Association
1. The Administrator of your personal data is Stowarzyszenie Warsaw Beijing Forum (association), with its registered office at ul. Adama Próchnika 8/86 in Warsaw (01-585 Warszawa), entered to the Register of Entrepreneurs of Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy (KRS, National Court Register) under the KRS No. 0000762966 (hereinafter – “Organizer” or “Administrator” or “Association”).
2. Any questions or requests related to the processing of personal data by the Organizer should be sent to the following e-mail address: wbf.conference@gmail.com.
3. The legal basis of personal data processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter – “GDPR’’). Pursuant to the Art. 37 of the GDPR, the administrator did not appoint a Data Protection Officer. In any matters of personal data processing, it is the administrator who should be contacted.
4. The Administrator will process the following personal data: name and surname, academic title, email address, academic affiliation.
5. Personal data voluntarily provided by the participant will be used for the Conference’s matters. The access to the processed personal data will be limited strictly to members of the Association. Recipients of collected personally identifiable information can be providers of IT or hosting services. The Organizer had adopted appropriate security mechanisms compatible with any binding personal data protection rules.
6. The Participant is entitled to request from the Administrator to access their personal data, to correct the personal data – in case the data is incorrect and it has to be changed, and to rectify the data, taking into account the purposes of processing, and to delete the data (the right to be forgotten) in the event of it not being necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and processed. Moreover, the Participant is entitled to object to the processing of such data, to transfer the data or to limit its processing (in the event that the correctness of data is questioned, for a period allowing the Administrator to check the correctness, if the processing is illegal, and the participant opposes the removal of data, requesting instead the limitation of their use and if the Administrator no longer needs it for the purposes of processing, but they are needed by the Participant to establish, assert or defend claims).
7. The Participant may withdraw consent to the processing of data at any time, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that happened before the consent was withdrawn. The participant agrees to the processing of data contained in the application, which will be used for purposes related to the course of the Conference.
8. The Participants’ data will be processed within the purpose resulting from rightfully justifiable interests executed by the organizer or in case of the pursuit of claims and protection from claims (legal basis – Art. 6 (1)(f) of the GDPR).
9. The collected personal data will be processed until all certificates of participation in the Conference are distributed.
10. The Participant can file a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (address: Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa), if there were any irregularities during the personal data processing.
11. Participation in the Conference and therefore sharing the personal data is voluntary.
